Pirate Fitness & Tri uses an advanced AI coaching platform to help adapt training around each athleteβs needs, schedule, progress, fatigue, recovery, and race goals.
The technology helps sharpen the process, but the coaching stays personal: your plan is built around your body, your life, your race, and your feedback.
Training can adjust based on performance, availability, fatigue, missed workouts, and progress.
Every athlete receives coaching built around their fitness, race distance, timeline, and lifestyle.
Work, travel, family, and recovery needs are part of the plan β not disruptions to it.
Technology supports the process while Coach Stephen keeps the plan practical, personal, and race-focused.
You do not need a generic PDF plan. You need a coach, a structure, and a flexible system that can adapt when training gets messy. Whether you are chasing your first race, returning after time away, or building toward 70.3 or Ironman, the plan should fit the athlete β not the other way around.
Experience as both an endurance athlete and a certified coach gives athletes guidance that is structured, practical, and race-tested.
My endurance sports journey began in 2014 when I started running. Like many athletes, I began by challenging myself with local races and eventually found my passion in trail running and distance events. Over the years, I completed numerous half marathons, including many trail 13.1 races, before progressing to the marathon distance.
I went on to complete multiple editions of the Los Angeles Marathon and the Baltimore Marathon, constantly looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as an athlete.
In 2018, I completed my first 50K trail race. While it was an incredible experience, I realized I wasn't interested in running farther β I wanted a new challenge. Several friends suggested triathlon and Ironman racing, and that advice changed everything.
In 2019, I completed my first triathlon at Ironman 70.3 Santa Rosa. The experience immediately hooked me, and I signed up for my first full Ironman in Tulsa. Like many athletes, my plans were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed that race.
During that same period, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer (survivor). Wanting to support a cause that had become deeply personal, I joined the Fxck Cancer Endurance Club, an organization dedicated to using endurance sports to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer.
Since then, endurance sports have become much more than racing. I have completed 4 Ironman races and 7 Ironman 70.3 events, including competing in the 2022 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in St. George, Utah.
Today, as a USA Triathlon Certified Level 1 Coach, I combine my experience as an endurance athlete with structured coaching, strength training, adaptive coaching tools, and race strategy to help athletes of all levels achieve their goals.
